Our Story: Inspired by Two Very Special Dachshunds
DapplePie Doxie is a passion project inspired by my own two dachshunds, Linc and Zelda. Linc is my mischievous short-haired piebald, and Zelda is his stunning long-haired dapple sister.
Their unique coats are the heart of our name: Zelda’s “Dapple” and Linc’s “Piebald”—which we lovingly shortened to “Pie.” Together, they represent everything we adore about these incredible little dogs.
As a proud dachshund dad, I was always searching for fun, modern dachshund apparel that truly celebrated the specific patterns I love most. I wanted designs that went beyond generic wiener dog graphics—pieces that honored the beautifully dappled and piebald sausage dogs that bring so much color, joy, and personality into our lives.
